Albergo Firenze - Como

This hotel could have been lovely, but alas, I found dry blood on my bedsheets, how charming! The receptionist barely apologized and handed me incorrect sheets. Even worse, I expected a complimentary gesture due to my troubles, but I was left disappointed. I almost considered a good review, but just couldn't!

Breakfasts are good, location is not better, i loved everything.

The number's small, but it's probably the only flaw.

Wonderful small, immaculately clean hotel with wonderfully helpful and genuinely helpful personnel on request for us. Lovely building, best possible and historic location just off beautiful Lake Como, the train station and the marina and the centre of Como Town. Also, easy to get to a scenic square.

Very nice location, just two minutes from the lakeside. Spacious, clean room with ample amenities for a comfortable stay. Friendly reception staff made check-in easy.

The perfect location makes exploring the area effortless, with dining options and the lake just steps away. The room provided an ample amount of space and comfort, complemented by lovely linen, yet internal noises were bothersome at times, such as doors slamming and conversations echoing through the hall. While the breakfast looked inviting, I chose local dining experiences to savor authentic cuisine instead.

Lots of outstanding food. A nice size and well-equipped rooms with super comfy bed, the AC plus the computer and attentive staff.

Staying at Albergo Firenze was a good experience. The hotel’s prime location made exploring Como effortless, and the spacious room offered a blend of charm and modern amenities. Breakfast choices were ample, fueling my adventures beautifully. A bit of nighttime plaza noise was the only minor distraction.

The bedsheets had a bloodstain, and I enjoyed the spacious room.

A very appealing " 3 Star " property, in an excellent location on a Town Square, and close to both the Bahnhof, and the Quayside on Lake Como. A very pleasant " Breakfast Room" with an atractive Continental Buffet . The Front Office / Reception Personnel were very good, and helpful to our many requests. Internet Facilities were available, and the Reception Staff assisted in the set-up, as the " Keyboard" is set for E,U. application. When making a booking request a Room that faces The Square

The Room was ' Well Apointed', however the Bathroom although quite large, only had a small Shower Cubicle. Unlike most European Hotels the Hotel Firenze had a refrigerator in the Room, which is a real bonus

Fine for one or two nights as a base. Clean, nice breakfast. Good location on a nice piazza and close to the lake.

The hotel receptionist was extremely pleasant with excellent command of the english language. She was more than helpful when we had a problem travelling by train due to a rail strike. The rooms were pleasant and the hotel was in a lovely location just a few minutes walk from the lake. The dining room was pleasant with a good selection of food for a continental breakfast.

No we liked the hotel very much.
